Oval Banneton Proofing Baskets

The baskets we use for proofing our bread. They come in oval and round!

Dutch Oven
Stand Mixer

The Stand Mixer I use! While I do not use a stand mixer for sourdough bread, I do use it for many other baked goods. My favorites are Pizza dough and bagels!

The price tag on a Le Cruset dutch oven is higher than most, but the quality really shows. This is the dutch oven I bought when I first started and I use the same today for baking beautiful loaves of sourdough.

Bread Lame

There are many different styles/options for bread lames. I personally like the "UFO" style. This is the one I bought early on in my sourdough journey and still use.

Cast Iron Bread Pans

These Lodge Cast Iron bread pans are Made in America and are non-coated like many others. These are the pans I use for desert style breads. Make sure to get the pair so that you can stack them to trap steam for a good rise!

Bread Pans

These are my go to bread pans for baking bread in bulk for our micro bakery. They are 100% Stainless Steel and are not coated with non stick chemicals. I use them all of the time and highly recommend.

Sourdough Starter Jar

These are my favorite jars to mix starter in. Weck is a quality product that will last, and the glass makes for an easy vessel to clean. Highly recommend.

Tulip Shaped Starter Jar

The same as the standard Weck jar, but in a tulip shape. I personally have both shaped jars and find it nice to have multiples for active starter and discard!

I use this wood spatula for mixing sourdough starter. You can use a spoon and probably get the same results, but I do like that I can scrape down the sides of the starter jar to see the rise better. And it looks nice!
